Birth doula support is for anyone who is pregnant and planning to birth a baby.

This support is available in-person, virtually, and hybrid.This package includes:
• 2-3 prenatal visits
During your prenatal visits, you’ll discuss your birthing preferences and work on a birth plan (if you want one). You will also spend some time checking in with Zoë about how you’re feeling, and questions, concerns, or hopes you have about/for your birth, and how to make the birthing experience as empowering and supportive as possible for you.
Anyone you plan to have at your birth is welcome, but not required, to join the prenatal visits. Additionally, if you’d like Zoë to accompany you to a prenatal appointment with your care provider this is usually possibile.
• 24/7 on-call beginning at 38 weeks
Beginning at 38 weeks, Zoë is available to you 24/7 until your baby is born, and you are home after giving birth. Reasons you might use on call include:
you go into labor (or are not sure if you're in labor)
you have a questions about early labor
in early postpartum, you need feeding support, or got confusing information from hospital staff
any other questions or concerns
•Continuous labor support
Zoë can arrive early in your labor and stay with you until a little while after your baby is born. During this time Zoë will be at your side to work on comfort during labor, support your care providers in working with you, and making sure your needs are met.
• 1-2 postpartum visits
Finally, within a few days or up to a week or two after you give birth, Zoë will visit you one more time, during which you can can share any questions or concerns.
• Back-up doula support
The birth package always includes the support of a back-up doula (or a back-up doula team). In the rare event Zoë couldn't make your birth due to an emergency, a back-up doula would be available to you.

Whether you are parenting or not, early postpartum for people who have just given birth is a critical time to receive support.
Postpartum visits can be customized to your unique needs. Generally lasting between 1.5 - 4 hours, these visits aim to support you getting your needs met however possible. This can include:
debriefing your birth experiene
talking through common experiences during the early postpartum days, weeks, and months
referrals to other postpartum professionals as needed, including mental health professionals, lactation consultants, and pelvic floor physical therapists.
light housework including washing dishes, doing laundry, sweeping, and/or meal prep.
If you are parenting a new baby, these visits can also include:
having your doula hold your baby so you can eat/sleep/shower.
Support parent/baby bonding
Supporting sibling bonding
Exploring child development and attachment needs
If you are not parenting after giving birth, your doula can provide non-clinical emotional support in addition to household support, as mentioned above.

Abortion doula support is available to anyone seeking to end a pregnancy for any reason.
This can include informational support (to help you determine what options are available to you and what common things to expect with each option), non-clinical emotional and physical support during before, during, and after the abortion, and access support (figuring out where to go to access the care you need).
